Reigning All India Football Federation (AIFF) Player of the Year Sandesh Jhingan has completed his move to Croatia with HNK Sibenik in what should be a proud moment for all of us Indians who love football.
The Chandigarh born defender has been one of the best defenders in the country by a mile in the past two years at least.
His performances in the Indian Super League and most importantly on the international front for India have been mesmerising and inspirational to say the least.
Now that he is bowing out of the ISL from this season, we take the chance to highlight all the records and stats that Jhingan achieved in the league since he arrived at the scene in 2014.

Jhingan started his youth career in Chandigarh and made his debut in the ISL for Kerala Blasters in 2014. He won two ISL runners-up medals with the Blasters in 2014 and 2016.
He went on to captain the club in the 2017-18 season. He missed the 2018-19 season with injury before mutually parting ways with the Blasters to join ATK Mohun Bagan on a five year deal ahead of the 2020-21 season.
He will now feature for Croatian top-division side HNK Sibenik.
