UEFA Champions League: Three Things to Look Forward to as Manchester United Face Valencia

Manchester United are currently going through a rough phase and will hope to pick up a win against Valencia in the Champions League. The Spanish side are themselves in dire straits, picking up only eight points from seven games, and will want a positive result as well.

Here three things to look forward to in the Manchester United vs Valencia clash.

3. Mourinho's time is running out

Jose Mourinho's time at Manchester United is seemingly running out, having lost their third game in the Premier League and also got knocked out of the Carabao Cup. The team won their first game in the group against Young Boys and will want to pick up three more points to make their chances of going to the next round better.

2. Valencia need a win

Valencia had a great chance against Juventus to get some points on the board after Cristiano Ronaldo got a red card early in the game, but they could not convert the opportunity and will now look to get a win against Manchester United. Unless they can get all three points, their chances of going to the next round would become less likely.

1. Mourinho and Pogba's relationship

The group game against Valencia will be another opportunity to see how Mourinho and Paul Pogba get along, considering the situation has not been great between the two. Their public spat on the training ground was followed by Pogba being subbed off in the loss against West Ham United.

It remains to be seen if he will start against Valencia or if Mourinho chooses to go with someone else.
