Bassong, however, believes Kane to be at his best and has asked his critics to be a bit patient.
"He’s been criticised for no reason because that’s how football is," said Bassong, as quoted by Goal.
"Harry’s been at the top now for the last few years, banging in goals week in and week out.
"What else can you ask from Harry? He’s still young and I’m sure he’s still got a lot to do and he’s not going to disappoint you guys.

Amid all the talk about his form and fitness, Kane has continued banging in goals. With his double over the weekend, he now has five Premier League goals this term, just a goal shy of leading scorer, Eden Hazard.
