Picking the Best Potential Cardiff Lineup to Face Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday

Cardiff are looking to end their winless start to the campaign against a tough Burnley side who are free of their Europa League troubles and now back in form.

The Welsh side only sit sit above Huddersfield in the Premier League table and will be looking to bounce back after a lesson in football from Pep Guardiola's Manchester City last time out.

Here's the team Neil Warnock could select for this important fixture.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Neil Etheridge (GK) - Despite conceding five last time out, Etheridge is almost certain to retain his place having not ben at fault for any of Manchester City's goals.

Bruno Manga (RB) - Lee Peltier was brought back into the starting XI against City but was forced off the pitch with a dislocated shoulder. Warnock must decide between shifting Manga over to the right or reverting back to Jazz Richards.

Sean Morrison (CB) - The centre back has been ever present for the Bluebirds this season and will need his presence in the air on Sunday.

Sol Bamba (CB) - A surprise omission for the Manchester City clash, Warnock will likely return Bamba to the line up.

Joe Bennett (LB) - Another player to lose his place in the last match. Cunningham failed to impress against Manchester City but it is difficult to judge the player against such quality opposition.

2. Midfielders

Joe Ralls (CM) - The midfield three have started together in the centre of the park for the last five league outings. Should Gunnarsson become available, Ralls should still keep his place

Harry Arter (CM) - The Bournemouth loanee has been impressive but his place would be in danger should Gunnarsson enter the fold.

Victor Camarasa (CM) - The Spaniard, on loan from Real Betis, has also been ever present in the Cardiff midfield with five league starts.

3. Forwards

Bobby Reid (FW) - Reid needs to shine in this game and with Josh Murphy breathing down his neck, Reid's place is at risk.

Junior Hoilett (FW) - Hoilett has been needed in defence as much as attack this season but is another player that needs a good performance against the Clarets.

Danny Ward (FW) - The striker has been unlucky so far this season but has showed good work rate despite the difficult opponents the Bluebirds have faced.
