Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante is reported to have spent an evening with fans in a mosque in France after he missed his train back to Paris on Sunday. He had traveled to France after Chelsea's win against Cardiff on Saturday.
The Frenchman had initially decided to spend the evening in a local mosque nearby the train station where a group of fans bumped into him and politely asked him to join them for their post-prayer meal.
The World Cup winner, who is considered the most humble player in modern day football obliged to the fans' request and decided to have dinner with them.
It all started with Kanté missing his Eurostar to Paris, then Googling local mosque, next thing you know man's chomping on rice and curry in next mans yard, playing FIFA and watching himself on MOTD 🤣— AbzzyRahman (@abz_gooner) September 16, 2018
However, Kante's evening with fans didn't end there. The midfielder then sat down with the group and watched BBC's Match of the Day.
If that wasn't enough, he also played some rounds of the FIFA video game with them.
Here are some updates from one of the fans who spent the evening with Kante:
