French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) wants Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane to replace Unai Emery at the helm at the Parc de Princes.
Zidane has had a dream start to his career as a manager at Real Madrid and has guided the Los Blancos to win the UEFA Champions League twice since replacing Rafa Benitez in January 2016.
The Frenchman is currently under immense pressure at the Santiago Bernabeu with Madrid struggling early on in the defence of their La Liga title. The Los Blancos are now seven points behind league leaders FC Barcelona after a disappointing 1-0 loss against Real Betis.
Spanish newspaper El Confidencial reckon that should Real Madrid decide to part ways with the Frenchman or if he decides to leave the club, Paris Saint-Germain will be waiting for him to be their next manager.
PSG were close to sacking Unai Emery after losing out on the Ligue 1 title to Monaco as they were looking at Diego Simeone as a possible replacement. But after watching Zidane's amazing season, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has set his eyes on the Frenchman.
If Real Madrid fail to win a trophy this season, PSG might well have their wish fulfilled if the Los Blancos decide to part ways with Zidane.
