Real Madrid are looking to shield their dynamic youngster Marco Asensio by offering him a new deal with a humongous 500m buy-out clause in order to protect him from being lured away to other clubs from Europe.

Asensio has been a revelation for Real Madrid and has caught the eye of all major clubs across Europe. It is being said that club president Florentino Perez fears losing his prized asset and is doing everything possible to shield his diamond from the eyes of potential suitors.

According to Marca, the 21-year-old Spanish attacker has a deal until 2022 and a buy-out clause of 350 million euros which Perez wants to increase with the current environment of spending.

The report also claims that the Los Blancos want to get Asensio in the same contract buy-out bracket as star players Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Dani Ceballos, whose buy-out clause stands at 500 million euros and is only bettered by Real Madrid's star studded frontline consisting of Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Asensio, meanwhile will also get a massive pay-rise amounting to 4.5 million euros per year on signing the new proposed contract by Real Madrid which will extend till 2023.
