Arsenal's Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka believes that he has adjusted to conditions in England easily since arriving from Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach last summer. The 24-year-old insists that he was always confident he would be a better player in the Premier League.

Speaking to Arsenal's official website, Xhaka spoke about his opinion on England and how he adjusted to the toughest leagues in the world. He said, "I play in an aggressive style and I think I am suited to football in England."

Xhaka believes that every player takes time to adjust to new conditions and their new team and it was no different from him as he said, "I think every player needs time to adjust to a new league, a new country and new team-mates."

The Swiss international continued by stating that he gelled with his team efficiently by the end of the last campaign and hence is better suited to Arsene Wenger's style of play. Xhaka said, "At the back end of last season I already felt good and I am feeling more comfortable now and want to help the team as much as I can this season as well."

Although he disclosed that he doesn't like to talk about his game, Xhaka spoke about his role in the team as he concluded, "I am not a player who likes to talk about himself but I think I have shown since I have been here that I am someone who likes having the ball, dictating the play, looking for my team-mates. I'm what we call a 'six' in Germany, a quite aggressive, deep-lying playmaker."

Xhaka will be in action for the Gunners this weekend as they travel to Stoke City tomorrow before facing Liverpool in a gigantic clash on 27th August.
