La Liga giants FC Barcelona have not yet given up on their prime summer transfer targets Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele and it is being reported that the Blaugrana are trying very hard to bring both players to the Camp Nou before the transfer window shuts down.

In addition to Barcelona board's much publicized interest in Philippe Coutinho, the club players too are not shying away from speaking about the urgent need for Barcelona to sign new players.

Following Neymar's world record transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona are in dire need of attacking re-inforcements with Coutinho being the Spanish club's prime target.

Marca report that the Catalan giants have been chasing Coutinho for quite some time now and it was being said that they were going to try and sign the Brazilian star even before there was any development on Neymar's transfer.

Barcelona are intending to bolster their weakened midfield by signing the former Inter Milan man. Liverpool, however have been adamant not to listen to any offers for their valued asset and they recently rejected a mammoth 100m bid for their star Brazilian.

Borussia Dortmund's Ousmane Dembele, meanwhile has set his heart on a move to Barcelona and has missed BVB's training session by expressing anger at the Bundesliga club who are not ready to negotiate their massive 150m asking price for the French starlet.

It is also being said that Barcelona have prepared for all possible contingencies should they fail in their moves for both Coutinho and Dembele. The Blaugrana will chase Paris Saint-Germain's Angel di Maria if they don't end up luring either Dembele or Coutinho to the Camp Nou.
