Many were surprised when Arsenal paid Brighton €58.5million for defender, Ben White - considering that the youngster has not played much in the Premier League so far.

In addition to White, the Gunners have made numerous signings so far - bringing in the likes of Marting Odegaard, Aaron Ramsdale, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nuno Tavares to take their total summer spending to €147m.
