Watford defender Sebastien Prodl is a doubt to be fit for the game against Liverpool on Sunday.
The Austrian picked up an abductor injury in the Hornets 1-0 win over Hull at Vicarage Road last Saturday.
Looks like an abductor injury for Prodl. Was hobbling away and could be an early doubt for the Liverpool game #watfordfc— Watford FC Mercury (@MercWatfordFC) October 29, 2016
Liverpool will be facing a weakened Watford side with Prodl not involved. The 29-year-old former Werder Bremen man has started nine games this season and been one of Walter Mazzarri's key defenders this season.
In addition, English centre back Craig Cathcart and Nigerian new signing Isaac Success are both sidelined for the game against the Merseyside club.
Some good news for the Hornets is that 27-year-old striker Stefan Okaka could feature for only the second time this season.
Watford currently sit seventh in the table and are six points off Everton in sixth place. The North London club are unbeaten in four games now and will look to take the momentum from that 1-0 win over Hull into this game against an joint league leaders Liverpool, who haven't lost since their 2-0 away defeat to Burnley back in August.
