Daniel Ayala's fiancee has launched a scathing attack on the "disgusting" thieves who ransacked her car just metres away from her and the couple's children.
The Sun report that Hannah O'Neill, the long-term girlfriend of the Middlesbrough star, had her handbag and mobile phone stolen by the criminals, as well as suffering damage to the family car during a trip to a petrol station on Tuesday.
O'Neill, who is the owner of fashion company HA Designs, took to her Twitter account to plead for any information concerning the theft, as well as launching into a tirade against the individuals who robbed her of her possessions:
To steal a baby bag and my phone!!! 😡😡 it's so disgusting!! So if anyone is attempting to sell the bag & phone, I would love to know!— Hannah O'Neill (@han_oneill1) November 1, 2016
I don't care for the phone or bag, it's my pictures on the phone which are the most important!— Hannah O'Neill (@han_oneill1) November 1, 2016
The incident is believed to have happened just outside of the city of Darlington in the North East of England, and The Sun revealed that it had not yet heard back from Durham Constabulary when it contacted them over the crime.
Ayala and O'Neill have been together since the Boro centre-half plied his trade at Liverpool, and are parents to two children.
The 25-year-old joined the Teesiders from Norwich City for around £350k in July 2014, has made over 100 appearances for Middlesbrough during that time and helped the Riverside stadium-based outfit achieve promotion to the Premier League last season.
