Thierry Henry created quite the buzz when he came to Kolkata to watch Atletico de Kolkata take on Mumbai City FC on 25th, as he seemed to be impressed by the state of the game in the country and believes that it can only get better from here.
When asked about what can help develop the game properly in the country, Henry stated that big names in football can help it get bigger as he said:
The Indian Super League has so far reaped a lot of big names towards it, as Diego Forlan is one of the top marquee players in the tournament this season. But the Frenchman has also urged organizers to make sure that more young talent from India can make it to this stage and get to rub shoulders with these big players as he said:

The Frenchman was in India for a two-day trip which was meant to promote the Indian Super League as he also interacted with fans during his stay in Kolkata, as the current Belgium national football team's assistant coach is someone we'll hope can appear in the Indian Super League in his managerial colors soon and inspire more and more youngsters to take up the sport of football rather than cricket in the country.
