Mumbai City yet again reaped their rewards for making Diego Forlan as their marquee player, as the Uruguayan was at it again as he went onto win the match for the side by scoring the only goal in the game with a crafty finish to send his team-mates into a frenzy.

This was his 2nd goal of the season and he has proved to be decisive for Mumbai whenever he is on the pitch, and he seemed to be happy with the win when speaking with Indian Super League's official website after the match as he was asked about his reaction to the match and said: "I'm really happy, we needed to win, and it was very important for us because we lost the last game and needed to get the three points."

He was asked about how he feels to be on the top of the table with Mumbai to which he answered: "
We needed to win, it is important to be top of the table but we need to qualify it does not matter if we are first or fourth. It's been tough and we needed three points because the last few games we didn't have any victories and what is important for us is the three points."

Mumbai City FC also put an end to Atletico de Kolkata's unbeaten streak with this victory, as they got 3 crucial points in this fixture which has proved to be difficult for them in the past seasons and Forlan was asked about how he feels about the performance and answered: "Yeah, they are a really good team, who play really good football, in the first half we had more clear chances than them. In the second half they played well but we got one chance in the second half which we took and thankfully we won the game."

Mumbai City FC now are again at the top of the table thanks to Forlan, as they'll hope he can continue this form and take them all the way to their promise-land.
