Conor Gallagher came through the youth academy at Chelsea, with the club sending him on a series of loan spells to various clubs in order to see him get enough experience of football in England.

The 21-year-old who has been hailed as an all-round midfielder is currently on loan at Crystal Palace, for whom he has been brilliant, scoring four goals and registering two assists in 11 games in all competitions.

His form this season has seen many ask for the Blues to make him a regular part of their squad come the 2022/23 campaign.

2. Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid on loan from Barcelona)

Antoine Griezmann struggled at Barcelona and their precarious financial situation meant that they had no qualms in sending the striker back to Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan, with the option to buy him permanently for €40 million in 2023.

The Frenchman has rediscovered the form that made him one of the best in the business this season, netting five goals and registering one assist in 15 appearances in all competitions so far.

It is highly likely that Atletico will look to get him on a permanent basis, should he continue his rich vein of form going forward.

The son of Diego Simeone, Giovanni Simeone has already played for a number of clubs so far, but it has been this season for Hellas Verona that he has shown his quality - netting nine goals and providing three assists in 12 appearances.

The 26-year-old who is capable of playing anywhere in attack, has shown that he has an eye for goal and would no doubt be an asset for any top club in the world.

Brahim Diaz was signed by Real Madrid in 2019 for €17million, but things did not go to plan for the youngster as he struggled to impress at the Bernabeu and was sent out on a season-long loan to AC Milan for the duration of the 2020/21 season.

Milan were so impressed by the 22-year-old that they extended his contract by another two years with a buyout option and the striker has repaid their faith by scoring four goals and registering two assists so far this season.

It will be interesting to see whether the Italian side decide to buy him permanently once his loan spell ends.
