The Premier League is widely considered as the most competitive league in the world with a number of great players plying their trade in England. While most of the best players represent the top clubs in the league, there are also some top players who play for clubs not traditionally known to be in the upper echelons in England.

Here, we take a look at the four most valuable players not playing for the top 6 clubs in the league.

1. Declan Rice (West Ham United) - €70m

It came as a surprise to many that no big club made a bid for Declan Rice following his impressive performances for West Ham United last season and in the 2020 European Championships.

The 22-year-old is regarded as the best English defensive midfielder of his generation, it is just a matter of time before he makes a big move, considering that has unlimited potential.

2. Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City) - €60m

Widely hailed as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, Wilfred Ndidi is known for his defensive prowess and has been become a key player for both club and country.

His performances for Leicester City have caught the eye of a number of top clubs, and it will be interesting to see whether the club will be able to hold on to him in the near future.

3. Youri Tielemans (Leicester City) - €55m

Another defensive player on the list and Ndidi's team-mate, Youri Tielemans has established himself as one of the best young players in the world - with the Belgian impressing immensely on the pitch.

The 24-year-old is another player who has been linked with a number of top clubs, and a move away seems imminent, whether in England or abroad.

4. Richarlison (Everton) - €55m

That Richarlison is linked with top clubs in Spain goes to show just how highly rated he is, with the Brazilian known for putting on electrifying performances - though there is criticism that he remains inconsistent.

The 24-year-old has also established himself as a key player for the Brazil national side, and he will no doubt look to improve his stats in front of goal as time progresses.
