Premier League side, Arsenal are reportedly planning on buying a new striker in the summer in order to strengthen their attack and also considering that they sold Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January and will in all probability lose Alexandre Lacazette in the summer.

The Gunners have enjoyed a good season so far as they find themselves firmly placed to finish in the top-four come the end of the season and are in pole position to qualify for the Champions League.

Keeping this in mind, they will need a prolific striker to lead their charge in Europe and here, we take a look at three potential targets.

1. Alexander Isak

Alexander Isak was heavily linked with the Gunners in the January transfer window, but nothing came out of it and it is reported that he remains one of their first choice strikers to sign in the summer.

The Swede has established himself as one of the best young strikers in the world over the past three years, and he fits the Arsenal mould of signing young players considering that he is only 22-years-old.

2. Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Another young striker and one who is highly rated by former Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is Dominic Calvert-Lewin, with the 24-year-old making a mark in the Premier League over the past three years.

The England international has become a key player for his club and such is is his form that he has become an option for Gareth Southgate when it comes to looking for a different style of play.

3. Jonathan David

Jonathan David is another name that has been put forward, and while he primarily plays as a second striker, the Canadian is extremely prolific in front of goal.

The 22-year-old has so far scored 17 goals for Lille this season, while also netting 20 goals in 27 appearances for his country.
