Manchester City on Monday announced that their all-time record goalscorer, Sergio Aguero will leave the club at the end of the season. The Argentinian's contract with the club expires in the summer, with it being confirmed that he will not sign a new deal with them.
Aguero who joined City from Atletico Madrid in 2011 will go down as one of the greatest ever players in the history of the club, has been linked with a number of top European clubs and here, we take a look at his potential destinations.
Barcelona are understood to be interested in signing the striker as they look to see him play alongside Lionel Messi and also ensure that he remains at the Nou Camp. At only 32-years-old, Aguero still has a few years left in him at the highest level and will no doubt be an incredible addition to Barcelona's squad.
2. Paris Saint-Germain
Another club who have been heavily linked with the striker has been Paris Saint-Germain, who will look to sign him if one of either Neymar or Kylian Mbappe leave in the summer. Aguero guarantees goals and would certainly be among them if he chooses to move to France.
The purchase of Timo Werner has not worked too well for Chelsea and hence they are understood to be in the market for a new striker and Aguero fits the bill perfectly. However, it is unlikely that he would choose to remain in England and play for another club than Manchester City.
