Two Indian Super League (ISL) clubs in Bengaluru FC and ATK Mohun Bagan will open their 2021 AFC Cup group stage campaign by facing each other in the first Group D game on Wednesday, 18 July at the Maldives National Football Stadium.

Bengaluru's 1-0 win over Club Eagles of Maldives in 2021 AFC Cup play-off on Sunday ensured that they qualified for the group stage of the AFC Cup, with Jayesh Rana's strike playing a key role in the Mariners qualifying for the primary competition.

ATK Mohun Bagan meanwhile, got a direct berth in the group stage of second-tier Asian club competition following Mohun Bagan's 2019-20 I-League title triumph and the merger between ATK and Bagan ahead of the last ISL season.

When is the game?

The match between Bengaluru FC and ATK Mohun Bagan is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 18 August at the Maldives National Football Stadium at 4:30pm IST.

There telecast of the 2021 AFC Cup group stage games featuring the ISL sides will be telecasted on Star Sports and Disney+Hotstar VIP.
