Italian outlet Tuttosport have revealed their 100-man provisional shortlist for the 2020 Golden Boy Award. The annual award was created by Tuttosport in 2003 as all nominees must be under the age of 21 and play in a major European league.

The prestigious prize was won by Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix last year.

There are 23 starlets from the Premier League that feature on the list, with Borussia Dortmund duo Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland, along with Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies, are favourites to scoop the gong.

Chelsea duo Billy Gilmour and Callum Hudson-Odoi both feature on the list, along with Stamford Bridge team-mates Ethan Ampadu - currently on loan in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig - and midfielder Tino Anjorin, who recently penned a long-term contract extension in west London.

Also nominated are Arsenal quartet Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, and Trae Coyle, and Tottenham duo Ryan Sessegnon and Oliver Skipp.

Manchester United are well represented by Mason Greenwood, Angel Gomes, and James Garner, while England's Phil Foden leads the charge for Manchester City, joined by fellow starlets Eric Garcia and Claudio Gomes.

Champions-elect Liverpool also have three youngsters on the longlist in the form of Curtis Jones, Sepp van den Berg, and Yasser Larouci.

Four Real Madrid players have made the cut: Brazilian trio Vinicius, Rodrygo, and Reinier Jesus are joined by Mallorca loanee Takefusa Kubo.

Barcelona wonderkid Ansu Fati makes the list along with 14 Ligue 1 players, including Eduardo Camavinga (Rennes), and Rayan Cherki (Lyon), among others.

Inter's Sebastiano Esposito and Lucien Agoume make the cut, while Milan's Daniel Maldini also features on the list.

The Golden Boy award has been running since 2003 and involves journalists from across the continent voting for the best top-flight player aged 21 or under in Europe across one calendar year.

Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi, Cesc Fabregas, Sergio Aguero, Paul Pogba, Raheem Sterling, Anthony Martial, Kylian Mbappe, and Joao Felix are among the previous winners.
