David Moyes was complimentary towards Jurgen Klopp in his own special way after coming up against him for the last time in the Premier League.

Moyes' West Ham United held Klopp's Liverpool to a 2-2 draw at the London Stadium in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off.

Jarrod Bowen gave the Hammers the lead before the Reds flipped the game on its head thanks to an Andy Robertson equaliser and an own goal following a scramble from a corner, but Michail Antonio had the last laugh when he salvaged a point with a fine header.

Klopp looks set to end his final season at Liverpool with only one trophy to show for it, and former Everton favourite Moyes was asked for his thoughts on the German after one final Premier League encounter.

"I'll be glad he's gone," Moyes joked. "F***ing too big, teeth are too bright. He's been immense for Liverpool. He's the daddy there & has been able to control a big football club. Hurry up and get away, Jurgen!"

In 14 games up against Klopp's Liverpool, Moyes registered only one win during his time with Sunderland and two spells in charge of West Ham.

That sole victory came in the first half of the Hammers' successful 2021/22 season in which they finished seventh in the Premier League and reached the semi-finals of the Europa League. West Ham ran out 3-2 winners that day, with an Alisson own goal plus efforts from Pablo Fornals and Kurt Zouma seeing them to three points.

Klopp had beaten Moyes' West Ham in each of their other ten encounters prior to Saturday's stalemate, with the Scot's only other draw against him coming in a 2-2 with Sunderland midway through the 2016/17 season.
