The Museo Memoria y Tolerancia opened its doors in 2010 and since then has received several awards, such as the Trip Advisor award in the category of the best museums in Mexico, several Effie awards, and the Grand Order of Reform in its opening year. The museum, through its rooms that recall terrible genocides in history, seeks to spread respect for diversity, tolerance, non-violence, historical memory and human rights, with the help of various multimedia presentations.
On behalf of America , the representatives on this visit were the sports president Santiago Baños, the technical director Miguel Herrera, as well as three first team players: Giovani dos Santos, Henry Martín and Emanuel Aguilera. Likewise, from Pumas the sports director Jesús Ramírez, the coach Míchel Salgado and the footballers David Cabrera, Andrés Iniestra and Luis Quintana gathered.

Both institutions urged their fans to maintain the rivalry on the pitch, regardless of the result that occurs this Saturday on the pitch of the Estadio Azteca, since sadly the Clásico Capitalino has stood out due to the violence between the bars of both teams.
La tolerancia es la virtud que hace posible la paz. Consiste en el respeto, la aceptación y el aprecio de la diversidad.

The representatives of the teams took a guided tour of the museum, through some six rooms, where they listened carefully and paid attention to the various elements that the venue offers. At the end of the tour, "Piojo" Herrera highlighted that the violence surrounding this Clásico has gradually decreased since the first time he arrived in America , in 2011:
América will receive Pumas this Saturday, September 14 at the Azteca Stadium, at 9:06 p.m. sharp. in the corresponding match on day 9 of the Apertura 2019
"El Clásico has changed a lot, from the first time to the present this Clásico is already another, the people and the fans have responded in the best way, the rivalry remains on the field along with the dedication of the players."
