Andre Onana has won the Castrol Save of the Month award for April 2024 thanks to a stunning save in a recent draw with Burnley.

The Cameroon international was signed by Manchester United from Serie A giants Inter during the summer of 2023, and has since been an integral part of manager Erik ten Hag's plans at Old Trafford.

Onana has certainly been kept busy throughout his maiden season on the books at the Red Devils, making 137 saves in total - the second highest tally in the Premier League. Those saves have seen Onana also keep eight clean sheets throughout the 2023/24 season too.

Perhaps the pick of his saves thus far in a Man Utd jersey came in April when up against relegation-threatened Burnley.

The Man Utd number 24 showed off his superb reflexes in the draw with Burnley at Old Trafford, shifting his feat and body position remarkably quickly in order to get a hand to a point-blank header from Lyle Foster which looked utterly destined to nestle in the back of the net.

As well as been a save rewarded with a rapturous cheer from the Old Trafford faithful, the save has also now been rewarded with the coveted Castrol Save of the Month award for April 2024.

Onana has won the Castrol Save of the Month award for April ahead of Nottingham Forest's Matz Sels, Crystal Palace's Dean Henderson, Liverpool's Alisson Becker, West Ham United's Lukasz Fabianki and Burnley's Arijanet Muric.
