Toni Kroos, The German International and Bayern Munich Star has been the subject of the media lately linking him in a move away to Manchester United or Chelsea .

It all started a couple of weeks back when it was confirmed that Initial Contract talks had broken down between the Club and Toni Kroos by the Club president himself and within a few days Manchester United Manager David Moyes was spotted with Toni Kroos's agent in one of the Bayern Munich games.

The Bayern Munich midfielder has a contract which keeps him with Die Roten until 2015 . Speculation about a possible move fired up even more when Toni Kroos did not really act particularly happy after being substituted in a frustrating game and Bayern Munich Manager Pep Guardiola being quoted saying

"He is an important player but things can move fast in football.

    Here today, gone tomorrow."

Toni Kroos has remained silent throughout the entirety of this speculation until Yesterday late evening. He took to his Facebook page saying

"A lot has been said about me and my future over the past few weeks , I request the fans to not believe anything written in the papers . I'm very Happy at Bayern Munich and I am satisfied with being a Squad player. However, Me and the club have not been able to agree a contract renewal ;Since it runs until 2015 this is not a big problem, and we will see what the future brings. I'm concentrated on the Sports side of things and if possible i wish to end the year like we did last year."

This is not the first time a player has taken to the internet to inform the fans about their contract situations. High profile players like Robin van Persie and Cristiano Ronaldo have done it in the past. One of them left while another got a Bumper contract renewal so at the moment it is hard to say what this could mean exactly.

The general mood of the Bayern Camp however is that Kroos will eventually sign a renewal and it's not like Bayern cannot afford it and it may not be the wisest thing to let go one of their own. For now though, let the speculation continue.
