Picking the Best Potential Tottenham Lineup to Face West Ham on Thursday

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is likely to make changes from the side that beat Swansea on Tuesday night.

Despite enjoying one of the easier festive fixture programmes, Pochettino's side are still facing up to their fourth game in ten days, and rotation is likely to play a key part in keeping players fit.

Here is how Tottenham might lineup come kick off...

Goalkeeper

Barring any last minute injury concerns, captain Hugo Lloris is likely to keep his place in goal.

Mauricio Pochettino may look to rotate his options in defence, though he still remains without the injured Toby Alderweireld. Danny Rose is also likely to miss out through injury.

Serge Aurier could return to the team after being benched last time out, and Davinson Sanchez may be overlooked in favour of shifting Eric Dier into a reshaped back four.

Midfield

  • Sissoko

The Tottenham boss has a swathe of options available to him in midfield, with the majority of his squad fighting fit.

Moussa Sissoko, Victor Wanyama and Harry Winks were all on the bench at the Liberty Stadium, and they could be slotted in to freshen things up for Spurs. Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli are likely to keep their places as Spurs will look to keep their most potent attacking threats on the pitch.

Forwards

  • Kane

Fernando Llorente is likely to make way for fit-again goal king Harry Kane. The Spaniard scored during the 2-0 midweek win against old side Swansea, though he was replaced by Kane with just over twenty minutes to go.

The England striker's record in London derbies is likely to see him restored to the team now that he is over his recent bout of illness.
