Picking the Best Potential Huddersfield Town Lineup to Face Burnley on Saturday

David Wagner's side will be desperate to pick up three points against Burnley on Saturday, with Huddersfield having won just two games of their last nine matches in the Premier League.

With a trip to the King Power Stadium on the horizon, Huddersfield will stay at least six points clear of the relegation zone with a win against Sean Dyche's Burnley.

Here's how Wagner could set up this weekend:

Goalkeeper

  • Lössl

Jonas Lössl has been one of the signings of the season so far, with Terriers fans hopeful that retaining their Premier League status - along with seeing a relegation-threatened Mainz 05 get relegated from the Bundesliga - will see the Danish shot-stopper move to the Kirklees Stadium on a permanent basis in the summer.

Defence

Huddersfield should look to change too much at the back following their 1-1 draw against Stoke on Boxing Day.

Tom Smith, Mathias 'Zanka' Jørgensen and Christopher Schindler should retain their spot in the first team, while Scott Malone could step in for first-team regular, and former Borussia Dortmund full-back, Chris Löwe.

Midfield

  • Mooy

  • Quaner

  • Ince

  • Van La Parra

Aaron Mooy should be the first name on Wagner's team sheet, with the Australian looking to add to his four Premier League goals so far this season.

Danny Williams could replace Jonathan Hogg next to Mooy, while Collin Quaner, Tom Ince and Rajiv van La Parra should retain their place behind the Huddersfield striker.

Forwards

  • Depoitre

Steve Mounié and Laurent Depoitre will be fighting over their first-team spot this Saturday, with the latter expected to get the nod ahead of Huddersfield's record signing.

The Belgian striker joined from FC Porto during the summer and has gone on to score five goals in the Premier League, including strikes against Manchester United and Chelsea.
