Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has moved to cool rumours suggesting the Spanish club could be moving for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea next year.
The stopper, who recently put in an unbelievable performance against Arsenal last weekend with an incredible 14 saves, has again become the subject of transfer speculation.
De Gea's numbers in the 3-1 win equaled a Premier League record, and he has removed any doubts over whether or not he's the best keeper in the country.
His form this season has prompted talk of a Madrid move. But Zidane insists he's happy with the two keepers he has at his disposal a the moment.
"I have two goalkeepers, understand?" he is quoted as saying by the Metro. "I am a Real Madrid coach and I am happy with my two goalkeepers, I will always say the same. I saw Keylor well, although we can always give a little bit more, like always."
The 27-year-old nearly left for Real two years ago, but an administrative error saw him remain at Old Trafford. He is still believed to be keen on moving, but there are 18 months left on his contract, and United should be triggering the one-year extension clause that will see him get tied down until 2020.
Having grown up in Madrid, the attraction is quite obvious and De Gea is also thought to have extra motivation as a result of his Spanish girlfriend wanting to return home.
