Mattia de Sciglio has arrived in China to meet his new Juventus teammates and will then return to Italy to finalise his €12m move from AC Milan.

The Old Lady are currently conducting their pre-season campaign in the Far East and the Italian international will be given time to greet the Scudetto winners before jetting back to his homeland for a medical and to sign the contract.

That is according to Gazzetta, who say that De Sciglio will be a Juve player in the coming days, barring any issues with his medical tests in Turin.

The deal will be the second time the two Italian giants have locked horns in the transfer market this summer after Leonardo Bonucci made the controversial switch from Juve to the Rossoneri for around €35m.

De Sciglio's deal is far more low-profile, with his departure beneficial to both parties. Milan have already signed two new full-backs to cope with his exit in Andrea Conti and Ricardo Rodriguez.

The versatile Italian defender is also in the last year of his contract, meaning the Rossoneri still get a decent sum before having to offload him for free next summer.

As for Juve, they get a potential bargain replacement for Dani Alves, whose contract was mutually terminated after just one season with the Bianconeri.

The 24-year-old will likely slot straight into Massimiliano Allegri's first team upon arriving and will be hoping to relaunch his promising career after stagnating at the Rossoneri.

Making just 25 Serie A appearances last season, De Sciglio needs a fresh start and Turin could be the perfect place.
