Teenage sensation Millen Baars has allegedly completed a transfer that will see him make a move to Old Trafford ahead of other potential destinations such as Arsenal and Chelsea.
According to The Sun, the 16-year-old left the Amsterdam club this summer after agreeing to a deal in principle to join Manchester United.
Now, reports are claiming that the move has been made official, and the young starlet has even updated his Instagram account on Thursday by writing "Footballer for Manchester United" on his biography.
The winger is a product of the impressive Ajax youth system, and was scouted for United by Marcel Bout last year.
Bout was working under Louis van Gaal at the time, but was kept on when Jose Mourinho took the top job at the Theatre of Dreams, and the club retained their strong interest in Baars from the previous season.
It is believed that Baars told Ajax of his intentions to leave in January, but was awaiting international clearance before being allowed to make his move to Manchester.
Baar's father commented on the move - which has been in the pipeline for at least 12 months -saying that:
"You saw in the past with other youth players who now play at other clubs. But Millen was ready for a different challenge.
