Ivan Perišić could be forced out of Inter Milan due to Financial Fair Play regulations if they spend big this summer.

As one of Inter Milan's highest earners, the Croatian international will have to leave the San Siro by June 30 as Inter prepare for a £130m summer spending spree, according to the  Metro.

José Mourinho is a known admirer of Perišić and is expected to battle Chelsea manager Antonio Conte in the race for the 28-year-old's signature this summer.

The Premier League clubs will face competition from French giants Paris Saint-Germain in the hunt for Perišić as the Parisians look to reclaim their place at the top of the Ligue 1 table next season.

Reports suggest that PSG have already offered Inter Milan £47m for Perišić amidst talk of Ángel Di María's departure at the Parc des Princes.

Inter Milan, who are expected to have a massive overhaul of their squad this summer, will be open to offers for Perišić despite his 10 goals and 10 assists in Serie A this season.

Perišić can play on either wing, as well as through the middle as a number 10. He is a very versatile player who has an incredible level of ability on both feet. Along with Inter Milan teammate Marcelo Brozović and Real Madrid star Luka Modrić, Perišić makes up the stars of the Croatian national team.

The Croatia star spent time in France, Belgium and Germany before moving to Inter Milan in 2015 for £16m. Perišić is most well known on these shores after his stunning goal for Borussia Dortmund against Arsenal in the Champions League in 2011.
