Arsenal and Tottenham target Jean Michael Seri has said that it would be impossible for him to turn down La Liga giants Barcelona, if they made an offer for his services.
The Ivorian has turned heads all around Europe with his stellar performances this season with OGC Nice, scoring six goals and assisting nine more to help his club finish third in Ligue 1 and qualify for the Champions League.
He also picked up the Marc Vivien Foe Award for the best African player in the French League.
Several clubs are interested in signing the attacker, with Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham thought to be the most keen. However, Seri would not think twice if Barcelona came knocking.
"I have supported Barça since I was a child, when I was still in my native country, in Ivory Coast. I was always a big cule [Barcelona fan} and those who know me know it well. Then, when I moved to Portugal, I had the chance to follow their games closely.
The player has a £34.3m release clause in his contract, but reports indicate that Nice would be willing to begin negotiations at £20m.
Asked whether his agents had received any contact from the Spanish side, Seri replied: "That's not for me to say. I have been told that coaches from Barcelona have come to watch our matches."
"He is the player I have always tried to look like," he admitted. "I can close my eyes and remember some of his games and passes with the Barcelona shirt. I always took attention to his football."
