Football Manager can throw up a weird result or two when you're a few seasons in.
Whether Bury have been promoted to the Premier League within a brief three seasons or CSKA Moscow beat Barcelona in the Champions League final, its realism can start to fade when you get a couple of years into a game.
One YouTube gamer decided to put that thought to an extreme test in simulating 100 seasons of the video game, and the results are certainly unexpected. Apparently, current Championship side Brentford could be set for historic period of domination in the top flight over the next hundred years.
The Bees manage to win an incredible 12 Premier League titles between 2097-98 and 2113-14. Brentford also boast an incredible seven Champions Leagues, winning six of those in seven seasons, while Manchester City also had a firm grip on English football at one stage, securing 12 consecutive league titles between 2028-29 and 2039-40.
Liverpool finally manage to win a Premier League title in 2025, but they then have to wait another 60 years for their next triumph. They do experience relegation frequently, winning the Championship on three occasions, while Tottenham and Arsenal also fall from the top flight in the 2060s.
It's been a while since Brentford were big players in England's top flight, with their best ever league position of fifth coming in the 1935-36 season, but they may be set for greatness in the very near future.
