Everton and Newcastle target, Harry Maguire, has committed his future to current club, Sheffield United, by proclaiming his loyalty to his contract with the Blades that runs for another three seasons.

The 19 year old was a summer transfer window target by both David Moyes and Alan Pardew, after impressing over the last couple of seasons at Bramall Lane. Maguire, who has come through the ranks of Sheffield United, insists he will stay at his home town club and is determined to see them reach the heights of the Premier League once again.

Both Moyes and Pardew have had scouts looking at the young centre back over the summer and received glowing reports back. Although no official bids were tabled for Maguire, it was well reported that a move to the Barclays Premier League was a possibility for the man who helped Sheffield United reach the League One play off final last season, where the Blades narrowly missed out on promotion after losing to Huddersfield in an epic penalty shoot out.

Now, Everton and Newcastle will need to look elsewhere for young and talented centre backs with Maguire unfazed by their interest and keen on staying in Sheffield for a number of years to come.
