Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez has admitted that it is "impossible" for his side to win the Champions League this season.
The Foxes overcame Sevilla 3-2 on aggregate last week in a defiant display to set up a quarter-final clash with last year's finalists Atletico Madrid.
Although Mahrez has acknowledged that his team are capable of doing special things, he has admitted that winning the Champions League could be a step too far for the world's most well-renown over-achievers.
"We're capable of the best and the worst," Mahrez told SFR Sport.
"We won the league last year when no one believed in us, no one expected us. This season, we're in the quarter-finals even though we're 14th, 15th in the Premier League.
"We're a crazy team, we can do everything. We're capable of going I don't know where. I'm not saying we can win the Champions League, because for me it's impossible, but we'll see, we're capable of everything."
Former Leicester midfielder N'Golo Kante was in the stands to watch his old club's victory over Sevilla last Tuesday night, and even went into the dressing room to congratulate the squad after the win. Following the gesture of goodwill, Mahrez was full of praise for his former teammate.
He said: "
"I had already seen him, played against him two or three times, and I didn't think he was so good. He shocked us all, he left a big mark here."
