Jose Mourinho has given his clearest indication yet that Manchester United are unlikely to sign new players during this month's transfer window by stating that the club will be 'sellers and not buyers' in the next few weeks.
Reports have suggested that the Red Devils were close to agreeing terms with Benfica for their centre-back Victor Lindelof, but as the trail regarding that particular story goes cold, it would appear that it will be a quiet January for Mourinho when it comes to spending.

Instead, it would appear that United are keen to cash in on a number of players who are looking to leave the club this month, thus raising money for another spending spree in the summer.
